Spring in Belgium, albeit not the delightful spring weather you might expect wherever you're from it does bring beautiful fields of yellow flowered rape seed. I love getting low and framing the strung out peloton amongst the flowers. Flèche Wallonne brought a particular twist in 2024, a harsh storm as the riders came close to the local laps, snow falling, sleet and hail, many riders taking a DNF in favour of returning to the bus. I shot this moments before the weather turned, the storm on the horizon.
